Washington D.C!!!

For spring break, my family went to Washington DC! It was so much fun! First, on Monday, we packed all our things. We left around 9:30 I think to go to the airport. We flew away at 10 ish and stayed on that plane for about 31/2 hours. The flight movie was Marley & Me, one of my favorites. :] So then we landed in Detroit for a layover. We had lunch there and then got back on another plane. This flight was only for about an hour. Then we started seeing the city! So that night we just went to our hotel becuase it was like 7 already. We hung out at our hotel for that night. Then, the next morning, we got up, had breakfast and we were gonna do so sIghtSeEing today. :) First, we went to Ford's Theater, the place where Lincoln was shot. And we took a tour of that. (I'll get pictures on here later of EVERYTHING)Then after that we went around the city and saw and looked at tons of monuments. We went to the Jefferson Monument, the Washington Monument and the Smithsonian. We saw lots of museums and other monuments. Then we went back to our hotel. The next day we saw more monuments and stuff. We went to the Lincoln Monument and the Smithsonian again and we went to the National Archieves and saw the Declaration of Independence, teh Bill of Rights, and the Constitution and also other old papers. We also went to the one place where they print money. We saw so MUCH money.. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. There was a TON. So we saw some more things and after that, we went back to the hotel. The next day, were left DC and went over into Maryland. We drove around in Maryland for a little while, then we went to the battlefield Antietam. We stayed there for most of the day. We took a big tour of it. It was really cool. We took tons of pix. After that we had lunch and everything and went to our hotel. We went swimming and had dinner and then just hung around. The next day we went to Pennsylvania and went to Gettysburg. We stayed there all day. We also took tons of pictures. Then that night we went swimming at a different hotel and then went to sleep. The next day we left Pennsylvania and went to Virgnia. We stayed around there the whole day. We went to Mount Vernon, the place where George Washington lived and died, which was really cool. and then went to our last hotel, where we stayed that night. Then, on Sunday, we packed up our things and headed back to Washington DC in the rental car. We dropped off the car and went into the airport. (Oh yeah, and also while we were in DC, we took the Metro train practically everywhere. It was SO FUN!)So we got on a plane back to Detroit. Then, we waited in Detroit for 5 hours. Then we finally got on a plane back to SLC. And also, the flight movie on that plane was the SAME one as on the first! Marley and Me again, which I only felt like watching 1/2 of. Then we got to Salt Lake city and we drove home. It was a really fun trip, but it was also good to be home. Cuz then the next day, we had to wake up again and go back to school. But yeah, that was how I spent my Spring Break! :) PS: Ill put some of pix on here later!

This Week

So last weekend was Conference and it was fine. I made new magnets for my board which was good. Then on Saturday we went to dinner with my mom and my sisters. Yummmmmmmm. Then after that we just had fun for the rest of the weekened. Today was nothing exciting really. Me and Meagan made a wierd/funny video. We always make videos that are weird. Also, this Friday is a sleepover thing with all the YW in our ward so that will be fun. Then next week is SpringBreak!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY! I'm so excited! We are going to Washington D.C. for the whole week! We'll be gone on the Monday all the way thru the Sunday and then go back to school that Monday. I'm SOOOOO excited! It will be So nice to have a big break from school! Anyway, I'm very So yeah. That's pretty much it. :)
